Well the kennel has been busy! pups end of December :0 crazy but true. Lovely pups i must say so and there sooo pretty and leggy so hopefully there new owners will show them as well as working them
We decided even thou moulting dogs were admist us we would still venture to crufts. Had a fantastic weekend in a lovely hotel and crufts was buzzing with lovely siberians ;) Deshkas togo dyr came 1st in his class (whoop whoop) and his slighty skinner moulting brother came a respectable 4th
The girls didnt get placed this time which was a shame as Coyote has lost that over loaded coat and is back to looking like the yearling i first imported. But overall we had a lovely weekend eating drinking and jacquzzis and of course the dog showing lol.
Still out running the dogs as were still getting lows of 6 degrees and looking forward to the club show in April and of course my 2 first judging appointments argghghghghgh.

Three years it has taken for a picture like this!!!! Bringing adult dogs into a pack is hard work but soooo worth it.. long may it live

results for Ae were
4 dogTracy Kirkpatrick 2008 2.8 Miles SAT 16.37 SUN 15.45 First day we took a wrong turn and stopped with the camera man lol and a few times on the hills. Next day we ran a bit better althou Angel was feeling a bit down (phantom women) and pulled back on the hills. Bit pleased with run considering it was yearlings first rally. Only comparsions we have so far are :
4 dog Tentsmuir 2006 BSHRA Tracy Kirkpatrick 3.4 miles 20:50
4 dog Drumlanrig (i cant get the results but the times were around 29 mins)
after only 6 weeks training we decided to head across the water to Ae forest in Dumfries for the yearlings first rally and we had a lovely weekend. It was soooo muddy and my lovely alfa was piggin afterwards! althou leather is easy to wash down my clothes took a few washes. The sshc rally was very friendly and althou i nearly missed my start time and dogs stopped with photgrapher we had fun
On the second day we had a lovely breakfast and headed off to rally site and ran dogs and headed off for drive and ferry home. On way home we sung happy birthday to Angel as she was five, she looked at us as we were a bit mad and as if to say leave me alone iam being stroppy cos i wanna be home not here with this mad lot. Thanks to all who helped me handle at rally and esp to Anne.

The whole kennel packed up and went to Scotland for the weekend. We brought the camper van and stayed in it on the friday night and it was so comfortable we slept in lol. We got off to Wishaw for the shhc show and afterwards we walked and fed dogs and we to the health spa and swimming for the humans
Sat night was spent with some husky friends, it was great to see old friends and enjoy a wee dram and the Indian was lush
Sunday morning saw us off to the SKC under Fred Palmer, being fashionably late and unprepared isnt doing us any favours, rushed into ring for post grad for Alladins 3rd show ever and he got a respected 3rd place out of a class of 13
not bad for a boy 3 classes above what he should have been in , and his ever pulling against the show lead! very pleased we are qualified for Crufts
His brother (deshkas togo) got 1st in Junior and took the reserve ticket
some wee piccies of the weekend
more pictures to come

Summer has been humid, hot, windy and wet like most Irish summers
dogs have been enjoying the sunshine and are sorely missing there harnesses in the past 5 weeks. Alladin has turned into a fine young man (cocking his leg lol). All dogs went for there rabies shots at the vets and all got a full health check , all were grand but Buffy needs some attention to her teeth
..... keeping our options open to a french snow holiday next year or maybe visiting good friends in Sweden.

Ive really been neglecting my site lately
but been having a few trips to shows over the water to try out a few judges. Has been fun visiting friends and handling naughty pups lol. We have been getting a few runs in here and there. The kennel is still on the look out for a new pad on the mainland but i hasten to add with the property crashing at long last looks like we will be stuck here for a good bit. Puppies are 1 on Friday! can you believe it? its unreal that still no seasons in the kennel for past year also. At present out litter plans are on hold because of this but we would really like another male in the kennel so if we dont breed we are on the look out for one as buying is much easier than breeding.

Mary and Micheal had a pick, after my pick of the litter Alladin, they choose one of the lovely black and white boys the other going to Dutch friend Constant Hegeman who currently resides in Sweden. Lovely tanned Darka went to Brian Ducan in Scotland from the Tassevo kennel..
Pups are 6 1/2 months old and just got their first run today
Alladin was terrified but ran second time around, dushka and litter mate cruz ran well.. Got new pen built and half the garden slabbed which is great as less mud in the house. Tried to buy some land near Dumfries and then near Thetford but too no avail
come on property market CRASH... hehe.. i hate renting and i hate neighbours lol...

and they continually wind buffy up and she cant abide them , i thought she d be ok with them but she hates there mum unless there in harness and she also hates her offspring. Not to worry we just juggle things about lol she will be 8 in Janurary and get to sleep in my bed most nights! wee mite! she is so so good i could trust her totally with anything and everything about the house but nothing that even remotely looks as if it has anything to do with coyote lol... work wise we got a new rig
bruce hall rig
very snazzie and the suspension is great for the mushers joints lol had a wee fall already (only ever fell once and that was my first time so maybe its just until i get used to rig lol. we have been going out and training in the evening and then in the morning, having the camper is a good send as leah hates training unless she get a dvd, still finding it a bit hard to get out juggle university pups and leah so i guess i wont get to a early rally this season. On the other hand we got to the Belfast show and Angel qualified for crufts
coyote had a wee burn around the ring naked
